Screening Tips

For the optimal client experience, we suggest that you follow these recommendations.

Screening Tips

  • Follow movement instructions in camera manager.

  • Have clients stand in an athletic position with knees slightly bent (i.e. not hyper-extended).

  • Clients should move in a controlled manner, pausing briefly at their maximum range of motion for each movement.

  • Advise clients to wear light colored, fitted clothing. Tuck in baggy clothing, roll up sleeves/pant legs for greater joint visibility, if needed.

  • Best environment is a blank wall behind the subject

  • Prep your subject to move by counting "3, 2, 1, Go" for each movement.

  • Only capture one movement per recording (e.g. don’t have client squat multiple times).

Things to Avoid

  • Screening in front of reflective surfaces (e.g. mirrors) or windows/bright sunlight

  • Screening while other people are in frame

  • Screening in front of low contrast or dark backgrounds

  • Baggy clothing (white and tight is best)

  • Black medical masks

  • Black footwear

  • Large heeled shoes

  • Long, heavy beards
